Compare used Microsoft Surface Laptop Go, Laptop 3, Surface Pro 5th generation and Pro 7 devices at Dream Laptops. Microsoft Surface laptop prices in Pakistan start at Rs. 57,999 in this collection, with different options for everyday typing, study and tablet use.

Check the configuration and condition before choosing. Surface Pro 5th generation is not eligible for an officially supported Windows 11 upgrade.

Compare Microsoft Surface Models and Current Prices

Choose between a conventional laptop with an attached keyboard and a Surface Pro with a detachable keyboard. Compare storage, display, condition and included accessories alongside the price.

Display figures describe Microsoft's original designs. Confirm the actual screen and installed storage on your chosen unit. A larger SSD gives more file space; it does not establish faster overall performance. Surface Pro 5th generation identifies the Surface model; its listed Core i5-7300U is a 7th-generation Intel processor.

All four original displays use a 3:2 shape. Laptop Go has fewer pixels than the other listed screens, so compare text clarity and your preferred Windows scaling. Battery wear, cosmetic condition, repairs and accessory bundles can also explain price differences between otherwise similar units.

Which Surface Fits Your Work or Study?

Start with Laptop 3 or Laptop Go for regular typing. Consider a Surface Pro when reading, marking PDFs or using a detachable tablet is central to your routine.

Everyday Typing, Office Work and Online Classes

Laptop 3 gives you a larger screen for documents and spreadsheets. Laptop Go suits buyers who prefer a smaller device to carry between home, university and work. Try the keyboard and screen size before deciding.

The listed 8GB configurations are reasonable starting points for documents, email, browsing and video meetings. Heavy multitasking, multiple virtual machines, demanding games or large editing projects need closer software and hardware checks. A Core i5 label alone cannot settle that choice.

Handwritten Notes, PDFs and Tablet Use

Pro 7 and Pro 5th generation support compatible Surface Pens, but confirm pen and Type Cover inclusion. Laptop Go supports finger touch, not Surface Pen inking. Laptop 3 supports compatible pens, although its screen does not detach. At the listed matching Pro prices, compare Pro 7 first when Windows 11 eligibility matters.

Try a Pro's kickstand on both a desk and your lap before buying for long typing sessions. A conventional attached keyboard may suit your usual workspace better.

Windows Compatibility and Support in 2026

Laptop Go, Laptop 3 and Pro 7 are eligible Surface models for Windows 11. Pro 5th generation is not, even if Windows 11 has been installed on a particular unit.

Windows 11 Eligibility

Check the exact device with PC Health Check and confirm its Windows edition and activation. Microsoft's Surface compatibility guidance distinguishes eligible models. Ordinary Windows 10 support ended on 14 October 2025; do not assume an older installation still has security coverage.

Driver and Firmware Support

All four models have passed Microsoft's driver and firmware servicing dates: Pro 5th generation on 15 January 2024, Laptop 3 on 30 July 2024, Laptop Go on 13 October 2024 and Pro 7 on 30 October 2025.

Firmware is software that controls hardware. Its servicing period is separate from Windows updates, which follow the operating system's lifecycle. Review Microsoft's Surface support dates when assessing a device for several more years of work.

RAM, Storage and Surface Accessory Compatibility

Choose the memory, storage and accessories you need before ordering. Different factory configurations do not prove that a particular Surface can be upgraded later.

Choose RAM and SSD Capacity Before Buying

RAM holds information used by running applications; SSD storage holds Windows, programs and files. All currently listed variants have 8GB RAM. Choose 512GB if you keep substantial files locally, while allowing space for applications and updates.

Do not buy an 8GB model assuming RAM expansion is available. Confirm any SSD replacement or upgrade with the store for the exact model. Storage servicing on Laptop 3 does not establish the same options on a Surface Pro.

Check the Keyboard, Pen, Charger and Display Connections

A Surface Pro's detachable keyboard is called a Type Cover. Confirm its inclusion and condition, plus any pen, charger and adapters. Pro 5th generation uses Mini DisplayPort; the listed Laptop Go, Laptop 3 and Pro 7 designs include USB-C. Check your monitor's connection and required adapter before purchase.

What to Check on a Used Surface Before Paying

Judge the exact unit through inspection and battery evidence. Original specifications cannot tell you its current battery runtime, cosmetic wear or repair history.

• Match the model, processor, RAM and installed SSD to the agreed configuration.
• Request a battery report and observe battery drain during normal use.
• Check touch across the screen, display marks and any separation around the screen edges.
• Test the hinge or kickstand, keyboard, touchpad and Type Cover connection where applicable.
• Check charging, ports, Wi-Fi, camera, microphone and speakers.
• Ask about disclosed repairs, defects and the accessories supplied.

Battery capacity and working time are different measures; brightness and applications affect runtime. Use our battery-health guide and used-laptop inspection checklist for practical checks.
